We are proud of our outstanding academic results in the sixth form. However, our sixth form is not just about results - students become mature and independent. A quarter of the year group stand for election as school officers; many more develop in other key positions of responsibility, for example as Assistant Officers or as Heads of House.
Female and male students new to the school in the sixth form quickly settle in - the overall atmosphere is friendly and supportive with a confident sense of achievement and progress.

Sixth form students are housed in a modern, purpose built sixth form block. This contains several classrooms a specialist room for Music Technology and an Independent Learning Centre. The Independent Learning Centre provides a silent study resource for sixth form students, containing desktop computers, wireless technology and chilled water. Students are able to use their own mobile computing to access the Internet and to a comprehensive Learning Platform to assist with their studies.
In addition to the extensive range of subjects on offer at AS/A2 level in the sixth form, we also offer students the further option of selecting the prestigious International Baccalaureate.
